Sarah Palin Bags on Tina Fey, Katie Couric

You mess with the grizzly, you get the claws.

In new interview footage of Sarah Palin released on YouTube this week, the Alaska governor gets not only folksy but downright forceful in unleashing her opinions on the two women most responsible for molding her less-than-flattering public persona, calling out both Katie "What newspapers do you read?" Couric and doppelgänger extraordinaire Tina Fey.

Check out video of Sarah Palin's interview.....

She thinks (and she may be right) that she is the heir apparent to the Republican nomination.

Really? Prove it.

She has great charisma and a very good record thus far as governor, so she is more than just a conservative and female. I agree she does need to perfect her chops on national issues, however.

"I don’t think she comes off catty, at least not to me"

I watched it again, and Catty wasn't the right word.

However, I think it appears catty based upon the people she decided to call out - Fey and Couric. She should leave Fey alone. It's a battle she can't win. Couric's interviews, and especially Gibson's, could have been addressed in a more serious, less personal way. But again, Palin needs some help in finding the right tone and language to have this public debate.

What about the fact that Sarah negotiated the largest contract ever in the history of mankind. She negotiated a multi-national contract between U.S. and Canada to build a trans-continental pipeline that would bring natural gas to the lower 48 in four different locations. $40 BILLION. Now someone please tell me what Katie Couric has ever done!!or BO for that matter.

"Really? Prove it"

Prove what? That she thinks she's the heir apparent or is the heir apparent?

Palin blew it. Even during her debate she couldn’t even answer the questions she was asked, instead going off on a tangent.

You never get a second chance to make a good first impression. The GOP would be wise to move on, and find somebody else for 2012.

Nope. No more phony “PR” coaching. I frankly wish that Governor Palin had slapped the feces out of “Katie” Couric, or that SOMEONE would. (Hate speech? That’s what “Katie” would call it.) SNL must never be given the time of day by the serious Governor Palin who needs to float her own boat from now on and not bow to any more of the RINOs or McCain media hogs. McCain grabbed defeat from the jaws of the victory that Gov. Palin could have helped him secure. He didn’t want it, but preferred “reaching across the aisle” and having his arm broken in two (more) places. He was too old and too tired to have kept on chasing his supposed dream of the Presidency. My suggestion is that he not run again. Those of us who rallied when she came into the mix got put off by his campaign bigwig’s sabotaging of the Governor - and then the erratic behavior during the “financial crisis” - poking us in the eye again.

Just what we need, another Senator running for POTUS (sarcasm).

I don’t care that she’s female, and most conservatives in my experience, wouldn’t care either. I would have voted for her if she were male because of her executive experience and background and Conservative ideals. Same reason I voted for her. What kills me is this is a woman, something that’s supposed to matter to all the feminists and others in our gender, race, etc. society. Yet, she’s dissed because of being a woman, wife, mother. Makes no sense to me.

LOL! Good thing I would never run for elective office. My South Philly accent would turn tons off. They’d focus on the accent rather than the content.

Just a FYI, “advise” should be “advice” in the context you’re using it. She also shouldn’t follow advice given from dots on the screen, imo.

Palin doesn’t appeal to half the country for the same reasons Barack Hussein Obama appealed to the other half. Or, more than half who voted.

She’s the reason I easily voted for McCain.

I agree. She should leave Fey alone. Fey is an entertainer, comedienne, actress. Apparently popular. Fey will win that battle.

needs to get a handle on her image, and quickly.

The time to get a handle on her image was the week after she was announced. But John F*n McCain and his band of slimy GOP douche bags were too busy and smartass for that mundane chore.

If 'Rat John Dean had been RNC Chair since 2004 instead of the pasty-faced assholes who really were in charge, McCain/Palin would almost certainly have won. Now that he's at loose ends maybe the GOP can hire him.

Well, Katie Couric is a TV pop personality, also known as a journalist or reporter (how I don’t know) and BHO is our unfortunate incoming POTUS. Neither are anything more than what the media and many in our Country made them. Neither can hold a candle to what Palin’s accomplished in her personal and professional life. Maybe that’s what annoys them so much?

What? Exactly WHAT candidate this year actually did answer questions and avoided tangents? Palin won that debate with Joe from the moment she asked if she could call him Joe. She spoke to the American people, not at or down to them.

I find it so disheartening, and quite depressing, that some freepers, of all people, are actually buying the MSMs 'she's not ready for primetime' etc. crap.

I love Sarah Palin just like she is. She’s honest, bright and qualified. She doesn’t need some PR geeks teaching her ‘liberal speak’.

"Palin doesn’t appeal to half the country for the same reasons"

Palin doesn't appeal to WELL OVER half the country. That's the problem. Barry and his smoke and mirrors managed to garner over 53% of the vote. With a 35% national approval rating, Palin's never going to win a national election with the same persona and command of the issues that she's demonstrated thus far.

And, thanks for the grammar lesson. You would have been helpful in college.
