I spent 16 years watching Favre play in Green Bay. He has a hard-headed attitude and is a dismissive person. When he's playing badly, he'd rather continue playing instead of stepping aside. I'm still peeved over the Giants' NFC victory last January, Favre should have been benched in the 4th knowing it was too cold. There's a reason why Thomas Jones and other players called out Favre.
I watched the last few Jets' games - the important ones that should have been won after the Jets were 8-3 with the division title on a silver platter. There is no excuse for that breakdown, and for Favre throwing interceptions and not getting benched.
hmm...I guess you must’ve missed the San Fran and Buffalo games when the running backs (Gore-Lynch) ran through the Jets defense like it was made of swiss cheese and broke tackle after tackle....Farve’s fault obviously....
how about that Seattle game when the Seahawks took a bunch of guys off the street and suited them up to play offensive line and the Jets defense never got any rush up the field and never laid a hand on Seneca Wallace....Farve’s fault...
of course the fact the Jets had the AFC’s #1 running back yet made the guy a two bit player in the last five games and all but ignored their only true play maker on offense, Leon Washington- was also Farve’s fault...
