It seems like a third party would merely ensure everlasting democrats — assuming the third party was a split off from the Republican.
I think it is better to have something closer to what’s right. To me, it’s not “the lesser of two evils” it’s “the highest right under the circumstances.”

I've only been on FR for three years; but this topic and ones close to it get kicked around pretty intensely, now and then. Either one thinks that the GOP can be salvaged to the point where it no longer enables the Left or that it can't be reinvigorated. At any rate, every Conservative will decide for themselves if they can take another candidate à la McCain. As for me, never again...So, I watch and wait.
The main thing is to support Conservatives, irrespective of party, in the manner each of us considers best.
