Is that the show where the alien ‘wife’ had to have two guys for the baby-making? I think I said, “Oh, geez.” and never watched again.

But it’s a good rant.

My kind of man...I was telling my friend the other that I really loved the men out of the Old Testament...they were full of testosterone..They protected their families...brought down giants with little stones...they wore loin cloths...and then I remembered King David had an affair with a married woman and then tried to get her husband killed. Still....there is something attractive and masculine about that type of man. Gosh I hate wishy washy men...politically correct, liberal spineless men...Where have all the men gone...

Where have all the men gone...

They have been accused of sexual harassment, fired from their jobs, emasculated. wandering the streets. It's no joke.

yes, once I saw his pic, I immediately recognized him. Think he’s been in a soap opera, and also I think some tv movie roles in my memory.

“The dude needs to come to FR and vent in incremental steps.”

Well, we need to invite him - he’d love this board!!

I have sons. I blame the gender neutral public schools. My oldest was bullied severly. After awhile I told him to pull the kid in the bathroom and give him a bloody nose. I told him he had my permission even if he got in trouble. One dayhe was bullying my son on the school bus. His sister, my daughter, was sitting behind the bully one day. She is 4 years younger then my son. Anyway, the bully started picking on my son who was sitting in the seat in front of him. My daughter picked up her biggest book she had and whacked him upside the head. That was the end of that. She got away with it. Don’t think he would have.

Good for you and your kids, but you probably know that it’s much different in the corporate world. I remember how a couple of years ago we all schlepped to the compulsory ‘harassment training’ thinking it was all a big joke, like most corporate training sessions arranged by the HR. It wasn’t.

That was a great piece. Many of us should grow a pair--me included in that. Too often, too many of us are just laying down and taking it.

He reminds me a little bit of actor Peter Gallagher.

I hear from the sons all the time. The oldest says some of the women walk into work half dressed. He says he feels like telling them to go home and get dressed. He says if the guys don’t “look” they are accused of being gay and if they look they are accused of sexual harrassment. I keep reminding them of the word “integrity”. Not a word often used.

A brave guy to reveal his conservative colors in hollyweird.

Ain't that the truth! Still there are a few out there, probably more than we can imagine. Charlton Heston was one of the most prominent. Ah-nold der Governator is a RINO or more accurately a fiscal conservative and a social communist but he gets along with the girly-men and the manly-girls because he is very antigun. I read in Heston's book (which he personally autographed for me when I bought it at a book signing here in Miami) that none other than George Lucas of Star Wars fame is one of the most avid gun collectors in California. There are others too. writer/Director/Producer John Milius (Red Dawn) sits on the board of directors of the NRA. Steve Canaly (Dallas) is a spokesman for the NRA and makes many of their training videos along with Susan whatshername, also from the TV show Dallas, IIRC. What do you think Hollywood would say if they knew a FREEPER was selling scripts in their midst? What would they say if said freeper won an Emmy or an Oscar and showed up on stage to accept wearing a Free Republic T-Shirt?
