Well done! All the things you need to know in life you can learn from Blazing Saddles.

“Howdy cowboy. What’s your name?”

“My name’s Tex, ma’am”

“Well, Tex Ma’am, are you in the show?”

” Why, no.”

“Then get your fwiggin boots off the stage!”

35 years ago this February I saw it in the theaters. Laughter for two solid hours. February 1974 was a very depressing month. It was cold, we were on gas lines every other day for our cars, and it was....February. This movie always makes me smile.

Took my wife to see it in April of the same year; laughed so hard I started to choke and had to exit the seating area to recover. Wife thought I had a heart attack and almost called the paramedics! I have it on DVD now and still find it one of the best movies Mel Brooks ever made. Can only watch it once a year...hurts too much to laugh at my age.
