One source familiar with the investigation said BART is looking into a number of issues, including whether the officer had meant to fire his Taser stun gun rather than his gun.

Looked like the “officer” had both hands oe one gun, not one of each type in one hand each.

Bart Police do not have the experience ,dealing with this stuff...
I hope next year Bart is closed down at 10pm..
A source also revealed Sunday that BART police had been on edge before Grant’s shooting because two guns had been recovered in separate incidents along the rail line in the hour before the shooting.
In one of the incidents, a teenage boy with a semiautomatic pistol had fled from police and jumped off the West Oakland Station platform, breaking several bones while landing. In another, the source said, a revolver was recovered after a fight at the Embarcadero Station in San Francisco.

One less thug on the streets, though at a steep price if the ambulance chaser has his way.

Only because they are paranoid and anti-gun. I have guns in my home but am not on edge. Or were they still scared because they encountered a citizen exercising his constitutional rights?

Yes we do live in a police state. That said I would not want to be a cop in that chaotic environment. But then I hate cities in the first place.

True but they don’t make that distinction. Their focus is on the evil guns. Not the boneheaded idiot carrying it illegally.
Is there a cop stupid enough to believe that someone in that train station doesn’t have a gun illegally?

You're right. It should be 25 trillion. Put the cops out of business. They are a f#^%& pox on society.
Give it time. This will be yet another example of a cop literally getting away with murder.

So, the officer with the gun (or taser, or both - I'm confused of course) shot an individual without a gun though they were concerned about those with guns?
Is that the description/explanation of the event?
