You're half correct. UT fared better than USC in the rushing game.

Are you kidding? I'd most certainly define that loss by USC as a "choke", given the hype and obnoxious bias by ESPN and just about every other sports media outlet in the country for the month+ leading up to that game. "The 2005 USC team were the best college team, EVER" according to most of the "experts". It was a choke of the highest magnitude. And the sweetest victory by any Longhorn team in my lifetime.

That game was one of the best ever and could have gone either way and almost did.

USC played a hell of game, the Longhorns were a step ahead of them at the end.

It was no where close to the choke job of Oklahoma to which I referred to earlier.
