I used to think the same thing, but in the past year, have come to realize that, at least with college football, both teams play to win.
I can't really say the same thing about the NFL anymore. Too much money, too much corruption (the Patriots), too much on the line. Wouldn't doubt if some games are as rigged as pro wrestling.
