That’s absurd. So I guess “you” are a troll on an Obama thread if you don’t agree with Obama and make snide remarks. Or on a Supreme Court thread if they make a judgement that you don’t support but others do. Or you are against Jeb Bush for President but others support. That is not even near correct. A troll to me is someone who hates all that is Free Republic...not one thread. You need to reexamine your thoughts IMHO.

I’ve seen people cling onto threads claiming that the topic holds no interest for them, is boring, useless, or whatever, and yet continually tossing turds into the punchbowl - not addressing the issues at hand but just tossing bombs. Such a person is just hassling either because they’re an idiot who likes to cause disruption for its own sake, or they have an agenda.
That’s what I meant. I didn’t mean that disagreeing or holding differing viewpoints = trolldom. I am not advocating an Amen Choir. Honest debate of the issue at hand is what makes FR the best site of its kind.
Making “snide” remarks belittling other members while not educating oneself about the issue or topic, repeating questions and never taking note of the answers, or asking questions (over and over) that have already been answered, ignoring factual evidence, and so on are all troll-like behavior, whether it’s someone with a hidden agenda or someone who just likes being an idiot because they think it “fun”.
And just to make myself clear - I am not saying you do this, I’m just thinking out loud about what makes a troll or disruptor.
