They found Godiva devolve! snicker!
Thanks for the ping Peace4EarthNow. Sounds like it was a very expensive search if they used a helicopter for hours!

Off-topic soapbox:
“Godiva, a chocolate Labrador,”
This is rather minor, I know, especially here where they’re just describing the dog, but it sticks in my craw:
Why does every Labrador - especially the brown ones - have to be preceded by what color it is?
Lately every time someone talks about a Lab, they insert color (often in capitals when printed) as if it is a different breed! Drives me nuts how people treat a “chocolate Lab” as if it’s a breed distinct from “yellow Lab” or “black Lab”!
Is this simply because Labs are so popular now compared to every other breed (going by pure-bred reg’s) that we must distinguish between them?

Maybe your dogs could. My dogs would find the first person with food. End of story.

I’m not a Lab expert by any means, but I have heard very recently somewhere that Yellow Labs used to be considered inferior(ie not up to breed stds), and were actually plucked from the litters by hunters and not bred. And they became isolated for a while or some such...I think I have that right. If not, hopefully someone with more specific breed knowledge than I have clarify. Perhaps distinguishing them recalls historical views of various types of Labs. Sounds plausible anyway.:)

In this case, I think it adds because of Godiva Chocolates...
My 2 cents.

Why does every Labrador - especially the brown ones - have to be preceded by what color it is?I guess that they could have used "Godiva, a Labrador bitch" ...but I think that chocolate Labrador sounds better.
