The claim that the original B.C. is at a U.S. port of entry seems dubious at best. Ann would have had to go through immigration upon arrival with a baby and the proof that she had registered the birth at the nearest U.S. embassy to where the birth occurred, but she would have kept the B.C, and been given U.S. immigration paperwork. Any child born abroad could tell you that!

I am not sure of the process but what you say makes sense to me. I am interested in following up with this EdHale stuff but am keeping an equally skeptical take on it as well. No smoking gun as of yet.

If she had NOT registered the child’s birth with nearest US Embassy would the Port of Entry register the birth?

Any child born abroad could tell you that!

That is me. Born overseas to U.S. parents who needed documentation from the embassy to get me into the U.S.
