In April 2008, appearing at Haverford College, Michelle referred to her husbands student loans, she added sarcastically: Now when is the last time youve seen a president of the United States who just paid off his loan debt? But, again, maybe Im out of touch. On 1 October 2008, Michelle told a crowd at CU Boulder that she empathized with students attempting to afford a college education, You come out so mired in debt, as Barack and I did. We just paid off our student loans a few years ago, and that was because Barack wrote two best-selling books, said Mrs. Obama. Dont we want a president who understands what its like to carry debt?amazing he can't pay off his student loans but can buy a million dollar home. Pay to play pays.

Don’t know who bought the home. It is listed in a Rezko attorney’s name and that one also pays the taxes.

I read somewhere that the “interest” on his student loans were not reported on any income tax return available. Wouldn’t you think he’d deduct the interest on $75,000 student loans?
