I really did get three nice new pairs of socks for Christmas.
One pair is pristine...I still haven't worn them yet.
But it has turned quite cold over the past couple of days, so I imagine that final pair won't be new for very long.

Costco had some very nice Merino wool socks on sale the other day, 4 pairs for $9.99. I bought two packages for a total of 8 pairs.
Mrs. L and I have very toasty warm feet. And that is a very good thing indeed.

I get a new pair every Christmas but they usually wear out by March or so. This year I’m going to try washing them every week and see if that helps.
