In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
Coda
Noun
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)
Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Hi, happy new year, etc.
It’ll embarrass the kid to be breastfed during halftime at his soccer matches.
you are both just J and probably bottlefed as infants : )
reminds me of the Rodney Dangerfield joke:
“My mom didn’t breastfeed me, she said she wanted to be just friends.”
Happy New Year to you, long time no see.
A music word! And me in Music City! I have to find a suitable article.
These women who nurse until children are 4 years old are living in impoverished areas where they don’t have access to healthy food for toddlers. But this mom needs a reality check. A four year old is not a toddler and feeding via bottle or breast beyond a year is not for nutrition but for other reasons which are too creepy to go into here. I think it also increases the likelihood of oral fixations(food or smoking) that are not healthy choices.
Wow, all of you are very creative!
My offering: I am not looking forward to the coda of my cat’s lives.
I got a coda in my nose-a.
Not really a work of just the surviving members, but a collection of odds and ends.
Kin ah have a decaf coca-coda & burbon when ahm reading mah novel tonight?
Skip the decaf coda and just head straight for the bourbon!!!!!
