What the hell is CNN doing lately?

They were aiming their marketing at producing the image of a more refined, ‘trusted’, serious news network. Then they hired D.L. Hughley and Kathy Griffin to appeal to the hip, multicultural, foul-mouthed young crowd - with predictable clumsy results.

I’ve never understood the appeal of Griffin. Her career seems to be built on being a shreiking airhead who cavorts with homosexuals. I hope CNN’s decision to hire her will now bite them on the a$$, but the Unassailable Liberal Icon rule will probably apply here - it’s OK for her make ‘homophobic’ remarks because she’s seen as gay-friendly. Her fans will think its hilarious. If a regular CNN correspondent had said that, it would be instant termination and then grovelling from the network...

The "uber rich" guy was Steve Wozniak of Apple fame. Griffen was on Jimmy Kimmel (who does entertain me, although he's dating Satan's spawn - Sarah Silverman, anyway)explaining how Wozniak said throughout their relationship that he never wanted to get married (he's been married a bunch before). Then, just a few weeks after dumping KG, Wozniak goes and gets engaged some hot little trollop who was born in the 80's. Needless to say, Kathy was flummoxed and again all was right in the world.

I've got to stop reading People magazine.

Tiny scars are a small price to pay for your good health :) I saw this picture on another site and the debate was ‘how can she show those scars’ and the overwhelming answer was that the gastric bypass has had to have improved her overall health.
