Why is this newsworthy? Women are doing this all the time and GETTING AWAY WITH IT.

There are WEB SITES devoted to telling them how to do it and what to do afterwards (with catchy titles like “...so now he’s in jail- what next?)

I know for a fact it happened to me. My ex hit herself and called the cops. I was arrested on nothing more than her word.

Thank GOD i was IN MY ATTORNEY’s OFFICE at the time she claimed ithappened, so she was arrested for filing a false charge.

The DA initially refuse to do anything because he said it was just me “getting back at her”. I had to tell him only ONE of us committed an actual crime (filing false arrest) and I lost my house, my business, and my reputation in the commmunity being paraded in court in handcuffs.

He finally filed charges after I threatedn to file a ‘writ of mandamus’ (to compel them to do their job. Then after telling me they postponed her court date for two weeks, reconvened it the next week without my knowlege and gave her a 6 months ACD - in other workds they did NOTHING if she was nice for 6 months then charges would be DROPPPED.

I dont know why this is not a FELONY to make someone go to jail falsely and cost 10’s of thousands of dollars.

I agree. That DA should have lost his job.

No way you could have gone to the local TV station and had them do a story on this?
