APRICOT BREAD

This is my friend's recipe---it's really good!

3 cups flour

2 t. soda

2 cups water

1 lb. diced apricots 2 cups sugar

3/4 cups wesson oil

1 t. cinnamon

1 t. salt

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup coarsley chopped pecans

Combine water, apricots, cinnamon, sugar & oil

boil 5 mins and let cool. Add flour, soda, and salt into cooled mixture.

Add eggs & pecaqns. Mix and pour into 2 5x9 loaf pans, greased and floured.

Bake 350 for one hour.

Hi lonestar, could you explain about the apricots...fresh, dried, etc. Your recipe sounds very delicious.
