Wow! Wouldn’t I love to be there right now!
Sunny, but breezy and chilly today—43. I put a pot of 15 bean soup on before I left for work this am. Imagine it’s starting to smell pretty darn good by now. Gonna go home and make some cornbread, eat myself stupid and go lay on the couch. Yep, sounds like a plan to me!

I have the bone with meat from the Christmas Smithfield ham in the freezer..I don't make soup..though I like it..and any suggestions for a good soup recipe would be welcome.
I could freeze it in portions and have some good winter suppers, I know.

Hey gal, there is nothing better than beans and cornbread...all of us country folks and (some city folks) love the combination. Very healthy also!
