Thank you for that wonderful montage in tribute to President Bush, GeeBee. I think that many of us here had planned to avoid today's Inauguration ceremonies and treat today at Amy's Place as usual.
In that regard, I planned a 'normal' opening graphic, which I'm posting after this, but it's hard not to think of our excitement on this day eight years ago, and know that we'll be reminiscing throughout the day.

How are you today Meg? I figured out why my hydrangeas didn't bloom last year. I saw two deer eating them last night. The deer are so beautiful but wish they would go elsewhere for dinner.

It expresses my heart today. My heart literally aches today.Not only is our beloved USA being turned over to the leadership of the enemy, but our oldest daughter is pursuing a divorce after 27 years. This mama is hurting!... thus I hold onto faith in God.

Thank you, GeeBee, I think that one will always be my 'best', because it's such a familiar scene - we often saw photographs of him in prayer.
