Thank you! That is a peaceful scene there, Megs!
I love the snow overlay!
Thanks for the additional info, LadyJ.
From what I read, it sounds absolutely horrible. It sounds like a punch line should follow Molasses Disaster. I had never heard of this until Fewz mentioned it.
Are you sweeping the ceiling?
I should never have chimed in because it is such a sore spot.
Living in an agricultural area, I see a lot of “gimme, gimme”. It gets to the point where they expect everything to be just handed to them.
When they first come and work in the agriculture, they are very hard working. Then they discover all the freebies that the state says they are entitled to.
The mistletoe plant is a very good comparison. Thanks.
The Holidays were good today. I especially liked Hat Day and Snowflake Day. And .... everyday is a good day for ice cream. :)
I used today to practice with snow overlay.
It is almost time to pick Marissa up; she has AWANA tonight.
Not sure if I will make it back later; If not ... see you tomorrow.
Thanks for coming by today with your graphics, your poems, comments and links!
I adore that little snowman. Now that snow is falling fast and hard. Isn’t he cute?
We do understand....did you notice before you posted on the one above this one?
Excellen description of the situation, yorkie!
That picture is wonderful, Amy.
One can be in an entirely different world on a Sunday drive. I also loved exploring Santa Barbara.
Both my children were born in California while my husband was in the Navy..and I lived there 3 more times...visited several times, too.
We have only had little snows this season that went away quite fast. We were talking here the other day that we wish we could have one nice big snow this season, as long as we don’t have to get out and go anywhere. We could still get one since we have the rest of January and then February.
The snow angels are pretty. When I was a kid, we had huge snows and when my kids were growing up, we had huge snows but we don’t seem to have the big ones anymore. But don’t tell Al Gore, he will try to make something out of it. LOL~~
That is so cute, Billie! Its still freezing cold here. I just went up to the front porch and “there laid my memory.” I wondered where I lost ‘that’. LOL!
People seldom go to the front door, except strangers. FedEx brought this. People familiar with my house pull up in the driveway and lay a package, etc. down on the chair or at the door, if I am not here. All my friends come to this downstairs door..It could have been there yesterday. My son thinks this will really improve my computer’s performance. We hope so anyway. Am going to listen to President Bush’s speech at 8:00....makes me sad.
Sweet, L.J.
That is a gorgeous bird, Meg. Look at that beautiful blue.
Don’t forget President Bush’s speech.
Now, there is a lovely hat, Meg.
So cute. Did you insert the message?
WooHoo...........!
