My IPOD died this morning. It’s a 160 gig classic. Loved the thing. A faithful skiing and kayaking companion. Always in a water proof case.
It’s my third one in 4 years. A 30, an 80, and this 160. They seem to flame out after the warranty runs out.
I’ve got SONY stuff that I bought in the early ‘90’s and they are all running strong.
I’m composing a letter to Apple as I speak!

3rd Gen. PPC, "Wizard". (MDAII) Introduced in 2005.
Now on my 3rd generation, an HTC "Wizard" (MDAII) about to go to the 4th gen, an HTC Touch HD! :O)
4th gen PPC, "Blackstone" (Touch HD). Introduced in 2008
I am NOT a Microsoft fanboy, but I do really like my PPC.
