In my experience, newbies don't usually bite. It's my experience as a newbie, I have observed many Free Republic,schoolyard bullies and their counterparts,attack and deminish capable new members. Tenure members find satisfaction in their abilities to attack any and all new members in Free Republic. As i have observed, newbies are targets for unjustified crticism and trivial fault-finding. In addition, he or she enjoys humiliating their targets especially in front of others. The intimidation is driven by those that need to impress their fellow freepers. In addition,the superiority complex is a symptom of a severe psychiatric disorder. Therefore i practice *prevention* to combat the affliction that is wide spread. I understand this behavior on all levels. Trolls that disappear abruptly, may be individuals that do not posses the skills to understand or combat the pathetic attacks upon their first arrival. I can assure you I am not intimidated easily if at all. Mr. Humblegunner is a free republic member that often enjoys humiliating new members for his own pleasure and entertainment.Knowing the type of behavior of Mr. Humblegunner, it's easy to notice he has a psychological malfucktion! May I suggest to you seeing you are a long standing member of free republic, an intervention is needed for Mr.Humblegunner. I might've enjoyed it better without the foul (and, by the way, unnecessary) language. (The F-word is frowned upon here, even buried within other words. You may not have realized that, being that you're new around here.)

On the other hand, I am curious how in your short time here, you could make a blanket diagnosis of humblegunner's treatment of newbies based entirely on one thread in which you are not a disinterested party.

"I" is always capitalized. You fail.

"crticism" isn't even a word. You fail.

I could go on with your poor writing but I haven't the time.

Suffice to say you are not yet ready for prime time writing in the real world.
