Why limit yourself to auto's? Have you looked at pumps? I think the military also uses the Mossberg 500 12ga pump, Just FYI. WAY cheaper and will never let you down.

With auto's, you have to find the ammo the the gun likes. I prefer to choose what I like!

12ga pumps eat what they are given, bird shot or buck, no complaints. If it short cycles, its operator malfunction!

Remington 870 or Mossberg 500, take you pick.

Your advice is excellent.
My primary home defense weapon is the Remington Model 870 Marine Magnum. Back up is a Ruger .357 Magnum DA revolver.
