How can an 11-5 team not make it?

How do you think Cassel will do next year with a different team? You think the magic will last?

Peterson is a very good running back, but he also benefits from a very good OL
When Steve Hutchinson went from Seattle to Minnesota, Shaun Alexander went from MVP to an average RB.
Peterson also fumbles a lot and doesn’t score a lot of TD’s and he isn’t a proficient pass receiver or backfield blocker.
Peterson is not yet a complete RB

Romo. The Eagles never would have made the playoffs without him. Don't forget pacman jones. Good move to reactivate that jerk, eh?

Brett Favre, cause he helped 3 teams. The Packers, Dolphins and Jets....

How do you think Cassel will do next year with a different team? You think the magic will last? With all the injuries NE has had (14 starters out), he WAS playing with a different team.
He will be picked up by someone that needs a QB -- maybe Tampa? NO? SF?

Pennington.
Discarded by the Jets.
Led the hapless Dolphins to the playoffs. Could they have done it without him?

How can an 11-5 team not make it? Simple, there is another 11-5 team with a better conference record.

Steve Smith, Carolina WR.
Amazing playmaker. He’s 5’9”, plays 6’2”. Hands like a geko.
Great runner after he catches the ball. Tough as nails.

He gets my 2nd vote, partly because of the way he plays, and partly for the hilarious commercials he does.Peyton deserved an award for this SNL skit that he parodying the NFL's PSA's with the United Way. The funniest commercial skit I've ever seen on SNL.

I was just about to mention him. He quietly had a great year, turning the Dolphins' fortunes around. He's the second highest QB in the league, right behind Rivers.
Who would have thought that possible at the beginning of the season?

I'm slightly biased, but I say Matt Ryan.

I no longer keep up with NFL football. Too much like pro wrestling.
I watched one game this year and in that one, I would say DeMarcus Ware, if that is spelled right.

If I had a vote, Adrian Peterson. No one had a season like him and practically carried his team. I agree. He is the lead league rusher, and only the 5th player in history to hit over 3,000 in his first two years!
