No caption from me; just sorrow, the kind without depth.
America has changed for the worse.
The pendulum swings and maybe we will be OK in the longer term. We are a strong nation and a strong country,
But...
I am terrified for my boy’s prospects. I had groomed them for a meritocracy. Now, that’s just a recipe for being a chump in these days of incipient socialism.
“Buy my gas and pay my mortgage” Mr. President!
How utterly pathetic!
Steal me some Heineken. Or. take my picture while I steal it. Katrina was cool. I got smashed on free beer (stolen beer) and get away with it. Sickening.
I lived in the best of American times, and I have seen the beginning of the worst of times. But I cannot read the future.
I wish President Obama well as I love my country.
But, deep down, I don’t think he does.
It has nothing to do with him being almost black. I would wholly support Rice, Steele, many others. Walter Williams. I care nothng about color or sex; it’s love of country or lack thereof I freak out over. I don’t care how he wears his cap (he’s on a vacation well-deserved; my boys do the same.) But they are not president.
President Obama will move to the center by necessity, that’s what reality dictates. He is not stupid and he wants a second term. I hope I am alive to vote against it. And to read about the doskids trashing that traitor Obama.
The good news is that beaurcratic obstacles are already in place to impede his or any others’ wild imagings becoming reality.
God save our Republic.
I hear and understand you. My sentiments exactly.
