I started thinking about this glut of lawyers at the top of the federal government and realized that the next four years is going to be even worse that I originally thought.
President - lawyer
Vice President - lawyer
First Lady - lawyer
Sec State - lawyer
Attorney General - lawyer (of course)
Sec Interior - lawyer
Agriculture - lawyer
Homeland Security - lawyer
Trade Representative - lawyer
Senate Majority Leader - lawyer
Plus the other ~ 60 lawyers in the senate and the ~ 130 lawyers in the House.
And then there are all the lawyers that are on the staffs of these people.
This country is being lawyered to hell..................
Lawyers passing laws that benefit lawyers.
I have a bunch of lawyers running my various businesses.
The legal training makes for some sharp minds.
Mind you, none of them practised very long, which I think is what ruins them.
And what is good in business may not be good for a country.
Under this same logic, you cede the ground to lefty nuts like Feminists.
Bill Clinton Man
Barack Obama Man
John Kerry Man
Jimmy Carter Man
LBJ Man
Hitler Man
Stalin Man
Saddam Hussein Man
All of these people ranging from incompetent and corrupt types to murderous dictators were all men. Therefor we should never elect men to powerful positions ever again.
See how crazy that is.
How about instead of just blanketly banning people because they are a lawyer, we just vote for people we believe are able to fulfill the duties of their office regardless of what legal profession they preform?
Radical idea I know.
Of the 55 signatories to the Declaration of Independence 35 of them were lawyers of some kind.
I am not a lawyer, but the malignment of lawyers as a group is silly.
See how crazy that is.
Provide a list of lawyers currently serving in any office who are champions of individual freedom. It doesn't even need to be a long list. Hell, I'll settle for *three*.
No good lawyer is in the yellow pages.
People confuse the liberal, ambulance-chasing, crew with lawyers in general.
The question certainly answers itself for anyone who’s ‘been watching’, doesn’t it!
My point is that there are a LOT of lawyers, many of them of the ambulance-chasing variety, and they are a pestilence on the body public. I know there are some honest attorneys out there. The law of averages alone makes that likely.
You probably have to have a bunch of lawyers running you businesses because so many lawyers in government have made so many damn laws that only a lawyer can run a business and be within the law.
I put computer monitoring systems in nuke plants and we sometimes joke around that the primary function of the power plant is to power our computer systems and anything that's left over can be sold to the general public.
I suspect that lawyers sincerely think that the purpose of business is to provide them with a lucrative vocation.

Kind of like the lottery
Correct.
Good point.
No, I do have staff lawyers whose job it is to insure legal compliance.
I tend to like lawyers (or rather, people who went to law school) in management because they are smart and can think on their feet.
Yes and know.
I, like you, can’t stand the ambulance-chasers.
That said, I own businesses in an industry that is innately dangerous. I know plenty of folks that only maintain remote safety practices because they fear being sued.
I also despise insurance companies (the flip side of the ambulance chasers) that will cheat the heck out of injured people in a heart beat.
Between insurance adjusters and bottom-feeding abulance chasers, I can’t decide who I’d rather see at the bottom of the ocean.
Left Duncan Hunter off the lsit.

Yup, congratulations, and well done. You've named the entire body of those with legal training (Ingraham and Levin aren't practicing, they are entertaining and informing) who *aren't* destroying civilization by perpetuating a legal priesthood under the false religion of jurisprudence.
Still, rather a frighteningly short list compared with the one comprised of both Clintons, Obama, and the rest of the rotten internal army or redistribution, no?
Yes, one more grain of sand in the "good lawyer" thimble. Meanwhile, the destructive, parasitic lawyer dumptruck rolls forward over the necks of productive, honest Americans unimpeded...
Uh, I didn't mention anything about 'banning' them cuz I know that would be impossible.
My premise, based on the what-the-definition-of-is-is era, is that with so many left wing, liberal, northeast, elitist, Ivy League POS lawyers at the top of the federal government that it's going to be worse than I thought.
BTW, I noticed that all the 'men' on your list supposedly had women for mothers.
That could be challenged in a couple of cases. For instance, John Kerry's mother could very well have been a mare and there's a strong possibility that Hitler is the spawn of the devil himself.
:~O
You asked for three; I gave you, what, 10? Off the top of my head!
And then you bitch that I did give you enough.
You must be a woman.
