Kitteh inherited my old one.
Ping for later....
Hell, I still use my Palm Zire to play old-time radio shows and pretty much for nothing else. I needed a player like that when you're listening to half-hour or even 60-minute) shows.
For some reason, I’m remembering the Corona commercial where the guy’s sitting on the beach, drinking a beer and skipping stones...and then his pager goes off...
Is there any sort of program to donate used iPods and similar devices to servicemen?
Ping 2.0
I love my 80G iPod. I have barely used up 20G of the storage on it.
My son’s band doesn’t have a drummer so they use the iPod to run drum tracks through the sound system.
ping!
Look over the advice, I know you have at least 6 ipods.
Very useful info I’m sure....I’ll save it for hubby. However for me, the techno-challenged, parts of it could have been written in a foreign language for all I could understand :-)
I have a 30GB Video ipod, and my dad just gave me a ipod touch, but with only 8GB.
The touch is WAY cooler and has wireless as well, with a rather decent web browser. I've been reading FR from my easy chair while watching movies with my family.
Lots of awesome games and apps also.
They are not kidding when they call it the funnest ipod ever. I even got a inclinometer/bubble level app for it.
The only downside is it will not hold all my music, so I have to be selective in what I sync.
You can use your old Zune to replace the rock you use to keep papers from blowing off your desk.
I tried the RockBox suggestion on my Nano 2GB. Failed miserably and had a heck of a time getting the iPod back to usable condition.
I also tried item #6; freeing it from iTune’s grasp. Same problem. The software they recommended didn’t work properly, and I had trouble getting the iPod back to normal.
Yes, I checked first to see whether my iPod was compatible. And yes, I did download the appropriate versions of software.
I’m back to using it as one of my music players.
