I guess I’m a little older than you. I grew up wanting to be Bobby Orr. Boston still worships the man. I know I do. But, Terry O’Reilly holds a very special place in the Bostonian heart as well.

I'm 45. Went to my first game at the Garden in 1970. I loved that dump. Favorite players were Orr, Derek Sanderson, O'Reilly, and Ace Bailey, who died aboard United 175 on September 11.

I'm 44. Guess I got that wrong, eh? LOL I loved Sanderson as well. Johnny Bucyk, Brad Park, Jerry "Cheesey" Cheevers and, of course, Phil Esposito. My father never forgave the Bruins for trading him. LOL

I still fondly remember the old bumper sticker: "Jesus Saves: But Esposito Puts in the Rebound." IMHO, the greatest bumpersticker of all time.

Lots and lots of good memories.
