They'll feed it and when its well enough return it to the sea. It must have come in through the Bay.

According to San Francisco's ABC7, the sea lion has been renamed "Saps".

"Saps" as the animal has been renamed, next to a heating pad and his pool at The Marine Mammal Center hospital in Sausalito. (Photo credit: Marine Mammal Center)

And according to the AP (via Sign on San Diego), Saps has been released back into the wild.

In this photo released by the Marine Mammal Center, volunteers from the center release a male sea lion at Rodeo beach on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008 in Sausalito
