Somebody should send this to Myrtle Beach, they are busily trying to run bikers off.
Small businesses in the area’s of bike rallies already know that bikers mean money. Motel rooms double and triple in Daytona during Bike Week. Rooms are almost impossible to find at any price in Sturgis. Restaurants are filled and bars have standing room only.
A lot of the older folks dont like the noise and crowds and every year a few bikers bite the dust, the newspapers always like that, it gives them a chance to write editorials on helmet laws.
Most folks have a good time and there is little trouble, but lately I have seen a troubling trend. Newer people who have bought bikes want to bring their kids with them. Biker Rallies are no place for kids. Leave them home.
