If you responsibly watched your dog so it didn't eat cat poop, it wouldn't of had worms...if that is where they got it. But, worms die quickly when pooped out. Sounds like you probably saw the cat and sicked the dogs on it? But then again dogs are disgusting garbage disposals and eat anything and everything so who knows what it ate to get worms. They don't eat it. The worms get into the soil, the dogs walk on the soil, and then get the eggs when they lick their paws.
