I didn’t want to have the Restorative until after I took the food to church. The pork roast was delicious, and the Cuban beans are always good, if I say so myself. Unless I leave ingredients out ;-).
It looked like it was going to be a great meal. The Mexican ladies were bringing in big trays of enchiladas as I was leaving, and the Peruvians had grilled beef. And someone from the youth group was making spaghetti, in case any of the homeless guests or parish attendees didn’t want to try anything new.
But we’re too tired - and we still have to eat Vlad’s birthday cake!
