I lost my enthusiasm for New Years partying years ago when I got “called in” for a graveyard shift on New Years.
We are lucky we all survived (although about four in the morning I wasn’t sure I would) and didn’t get fired/arrested. I am with you, give me a quieter New Years with people I actually like.
Should have added .... First Night indicates that many others prefer a quieter New Years celebration.
