Looks more like a “big cat”, not a kitten, to me.

I used to shy away from being “judgemental” in the presence of my children. They are 7 and 10.

I guarantee you the first thing out of my 4th grade boy’s mouth would be an uncoached and unprovoked “that’s just stupid.”

Well, giving the cat some piercings would make it easier to find it with a metal detector. Then there's also the big electromagnet for when the cat is hiding right before a trip to the V-E-T.

Couple comments.

Not sure why it’s any worse than the routine docking of tails and ears for many dog and cat breeds.

Lots of people have their kids, even babies, get ears and sometimes other parts pierced. I see many Hispanic little girl babies with their ears pierced.
