The ice fishing crowd is really getting antsy here in S.E. Michigan. The canals off Lake St. Clair will start to freeze up then along comes a break in the weather and rain.
Some guys are reporting 3 - 4 inches of ice on the lake but all open water beyond that. Those guys are the nuts who get stranded on ice flows and have to be rescued by the coast guard.
We just got about 4 inches of snow last night which probably won't help conditions any if it starts to warm up.
here's a good fishing report site for my neck of the woods.....
