Swann faulted McLean for repeatedly invoking her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination at today's hearing. "Her silence does not help," Swann said. 5th Amendment exercise now equals Contempt of Court? If she has a decent lawyer she is going to OWN that town.

The Fifth Amendment only applies in criminal matters. Correct. One can only plead the fifth if the information requested could lead to a criminal prosecution, which would typically not be the case in a divorce or child custody case.
