In a surprising rebuke to the warriors who fought for him through tough times, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Sunday sided with President-elect Barack Obama and scolded the Republican National Committee for fanning the Illinois corruption scandal.
On ABCs This Week, host George Stephanopoulos asked: The chairman of the Republican National Committee, Mike Duncan, has been highly critical of the way President- elect Obama has dealt with this.
"He's had a statement every single day, saying that the Obama team should reveal all contacts they've had with Governor [Rod] Blagojevich. He says that Obama's promise of transparency to the American people is now being tested. Do you agree with that? See Also

McCain replied: I think that the Obama campaign should and will give all information necessary. You know, in all due respect to the Republican National Committee and anybody right now, I think we should try to be working constructively together, not only on an issue such as this, but on the economy stimulus package, reforms that are necessary. And so, I don't know all the details of the relationship between President-elect Obama's campaign or his people and the governor of Illinois, but I have some confidence that all the information will come out. It always does, it seems to me.

He had Dole's weakness as a candidate and Clinton's need for approval from the press and Democrats, the worst of the 96 election.
I dunno
What might be "going on behind the scenes" that we don't know about? He may just be acting Presidential with some alternate legal initiative "in the works".
Profanity is so passe when you can uncork a really great insult in proper English. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

“..so I want to know, who is it that nominated him? “
1) Democrat cross-overs
2) Idiots
3) The Media
The Primary debates were deliberately sckewed to make him look good. The Media got the candidate (Obama) and the opponent (McCain) they wanted.
Once the technocrats, bureaucrats and social engineers discovered the Americans can become so pusillanimous that they would not even step forward to defend their own kids - something the basest animal is programmed to do - they figured they could get away with anything and it has gotten progressively worse since.
Even liberals can learn from experience.
Perhaps. On the other hand, in the spirit of bipartisanship, he might have knifed us in the back there too.
We need to work on 2012 and NOT repeat the errors of 2008 - even if it means starting a new political party to get rid of the RINOs.
EXACTLY
Like I said, the black community was infiltrated by Communists a long time ago, who used our legitimate grievances against the society at large.
Well, they have infiltrated many other communities too:
the entertainment industry, the media, the unions and most of all - higher educational institutions.
American government operates by crisis. It is never - or rarely - proactive. It does little unless proded by outside circumstances or overwhelming public opinion. In many cases this is a good thing. As conservatives we want as little government as possible.
But for too long the government has ignored communist influences in major segments of American society. In my opinion, the key element is the higher educational system. It warps minds, creates the journalists and attorneys, and influences society far beyond what would expect - even considering its bloated budget.
