Then you should look into reserving a cabin at White Pines State Park next fall. You have to reserve early, but it’s beautiful when the leaves change, and the food is excellent; especially the Sunday brunch.

Also Oregon, our county seat (the state park is about 12 miles West of Oregon), has a downtown craft fair in late September that has a lot of booths and attendance. Someplace to visit when you want to get out of traffic...
