Many years ago when my youngest son was in grammar school, he wrote a Veterans Day note thanking me for my service to America.
Every Vets Day I still take it out and read it.

Thanks to my daddy, my stepdad, and my uncles Jimmy (RIP) and Buddy. God also bless my grandaddy (USMC) who served stateside until retiring in ‘69.

Thank you to my hubby and my three brothers.

Thank you to my cousin Eddie.

Thank you to my friends from high school and college: Mark, Mike, Steve, Jim, Vernon, “Weasel”, and Frank.

You all served honorably and some of you came very scary close to not making it back.

Thanks to all who served.

Please everyone- read the book Stolen Valor it will explain so much- I recommend it to those of you that were old enough to remember the war- especially if you served it will mean a lot to you. And I recommend it to those of you that are too young to remember the war- you need to know the truth about what the left and the politicians and the media really did to our great guys and never allow it to happen again.
