My dad won't even let me turn the chambers on some of his pistols, because they're virgin (most from the 30s, 40s and 50s).

I've got to respect his anal retentiveness about the purity of the guns, but damn, I want to shoot 'em.

My opinion is that the weapon should be fired at least once, unless a museum piece. Mine aren’t!
