No because your comment does not jibe with the history. What is creating our current situation is in fact a lethargic GOP with the spending morals of the Democrat party AND the ‘rats forcing Freddie and Fannie to make lousy loans. NOW the same folks want us to pay more so they don’t look bad. That wasn’t OBL at all it was our elected officials (Thanks Bill and Hil)

I agree with you.
But my own opinion nearly got me flamed off FR five years ago.
Because I wanted a few cities reduced to ash - no nukes, mind you; we can reduce a city to its component elements via napalm, FAE, and sustained arty fires.
Been 7 years in the stan, that problem should have gone away long time ago.
Now all we need is a wide spread bio attack and we are toast.
Let’s at least give Bush the credit he is due for his part in this financial mess. OBL shouldn’t be able to claim it all.
