Standard poodles are great. This is my brothers dog with my nephew in a 5 inch South Louisiana snow storm this morning.
I’ll bet your nephew was ecstatic with the snow; is that his first time in snow? It’s amazing that SOUTHERN Louisiana had snow!
I had a Toy Poodle growing up, and he was a memorable dog. I’ve been around Standards as well, and was impressed with them as well. No regrets whatsoever with the GoldenDoodle. I put poodles right up there with dogs in the sporting group as good “kid” dogs.
