This wasn't a testament about Bush's term it was in answer to a question from Blitzer about her possible response to an offer from Obama. The "The American people are wise in wanting change. Two terms is plenty." remark was clearly about her seeing herself better off outside of the new administration.

Correct but that doesn’t keep the MSM and trolls from portraying it otherwise....... Thatg’s exactly why I posted the entire exchange in context. There was much more to the interview that just the short blurp about her and Obama.

Notionally of course she was addressing her own length of service, but the words “The American people are wise to want change. Two terms is plenty.” inevitably appears as an endorsement of Obama and slam against Bush. “Change” was after all O’s mantra. If she was just talking about her service fatigue and wanted to make that clear, she could have said “I need a change; I’ve served long enough.” Really, giving her the benefit of the doubt here is kinda like letting Kerry off the hook for his old “stuck in Iraq” remark.
