Bettie Page, a 1950s pinup known for her raven-haired bangs and saucy come-hither looks, was hospitalized in intensive care after suffering a heart attack, her agent said Friday.
"She's critically ill," Mark Roesler of CMG Worldwide told The Associated Press.
He said the 85-year-old had been hospitalized for the last three weeks with pneumonia and was about to be released when she had the heart attack Tuesday. Page was transferred to another hospital in Los Angeles and remained in intensive care Friday.

When I was listening to KFI online this morning, I thought they reported that she’d passed away.

If God is listening; I only date red haired women for fun and death-defying sorts of stunts. Save the red heads for me. YOU will be pleased.

Get well Bettie.
Thank you for sharing your incredible beauty!

She was very avante-garde...and from what I have read, she has not had an easy life. Everytime I see Dita von Teese...I just say she is channelling her ‘inner Bettie Page.’ I wish Ms. Page well...

Betty Page later became a serious Christian. She was very active at one time working in Billy Grahm’s crusades.
Before you go lusting after her too much, remember you are lusting after a sister in Christ.

Gretchen Mol was outstanding (not to mention gorgeous) in that film. Her performance depicted a woman, paradoxically, of extreme innocence.

She managed to hang on to the innocence when her circumstance would have probably hardened others.
I wasn’t exactly thrilled with the casting choice when I first heard of it, but she did a really excellent job.

My post was number 9. Where did you get the idea that I was lusting after her from my post?
