I'm not a big fan of this music. I use mute. But it's really high quality. You can see how the " reefing process " has already begun. Barnacles and other basic life that requires a hard surface to cling to have clearly made their homes here. And the fish have too.

I have no clue who these people are. Don't care. It's good to have a video like this at my fingertips. The homepage for this video seems like it's under construction, so if anybody around here has extra web space that they could make a copy of this for later use in case the web page dies, that would be most helpful for when this debate comes back.

Got another one for you, if you’re curious.

I appologize about the music, this isn’t my own personal work nor video. But I’ve already started emailing this out so that the people I know have seen it and see the reality of life under oil rigs as opposed to the media’s reality.

Cool video but what is the point of these rednecks spearing large Amberjacks and Barracudas. Totally inedible fish and just a waste. Equvilent to men with with small penises trophy hunting lions in Africa for no other reason than to say they killed it. Gives hunters and sportsman a bad name, sorry Ted Nugent. You can’t eat it you don’t have any business hunting it.

You have to realize the “environMENTALISM” the religion, doesn't care how good of care of the environment business takes, it will never be enough. Reason being is that it has nothing to do with protecting the environment, it's strictly about power and control.

"EnironMENTALISM", the same old communists, with a new set of clothes....

Now some endangered fish will swim by, make it its home, and they will have to shut the rig down so as not to destroy its habitat !!!

Bookmark this has a bunch of good info

The new congress will kill the newly approved offshore drilling bill and it will go away so we need to get back to pushing all involved understand that we cannot be dependent on foreign oil and allow a windfall tax on the oil companies. (I got a letter from Boxer and she took pride in the fact that she sponsored that bill)

Save the offshore drilling and Help Sarah open anwr
Its all about National Defense, Drill for Oil Now

When we had a boat, the place we headed first, was to an oil platform in the Gulf. After that we looked for a weed line. Now that was REAL fishing!

The good folks of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama have enjoyed this little secret for decades. The rigs create the best fishing! Without these structures, the northern gulf would be a virtual desert.

Did mention the fishing is great here?
