Actually, If it happens before Dec 15th, the DNC could tell its electoral college voters to vote for say.... Hillary. They can do that.

If it happens AFTER Dec 15th, then the House of Rep's (One state one vote) will vote on the top 3 vote getter's, and the person who wins THAT will be President.

Either way a huge controversy.
