So out at my Renfest, we have a Highland Fling-themed weekend, and for every themed weekend we have an eating contest ... of course, that weekend’s was haggis.

I am told it tasted like cat food.

I am also told that the contestants came perilously close to hurling.

I am further told (by the guy who plays my husband out there) that there is such a thing as good haggis. Nothing he told me - and he told me about haggis in grievous detail - makes me want to try it.

Never tried haggis but deviled ham is like cat food and looks like cat food come to think of it. But it’s better than spam
