Theres a lot of guest bass players that want to do it including Flea,I doubt very much a bassist playing in the nude fits Faces image.
Wonder if K Jones is gonna be playing drums.

Flea is a great bass player. But he’s not British. Maybe The Kinks or Mott the Hoople’s bass players are available?
Def Leppard did a great British Invasion album (YA I’M 51 GO AHEAD THROW DIRT ON ME!) a few years ago.

My thoughts, exactly. Otherwise it isn’t much of a Faces gig.
What they ought to do is get Jeff Beck in the fold, put Ronnie back on bass and reform the Jeff Beck Group.
That would be fun while it lasted.

I agree Flea's good, but his style is a bit of a distraction.
I'd suggest John Paul Jones but it looks like he's got his own tour going.

Are any of the members of Them still living in Texas? They moved here in the 1960s after Van Morrison left.
Ian McLagen and Ronnie Wood of the Faces (and Small Faces) moved to Texas in the 1980s.

Thanks for the clip. Looks like Rod almost clocked poor Ronnie with that mike stand.
I like the shot of the groupie grooving her checked bellbottoms off.

As McLagan and Lane are dead , if Jones doesn’t play drums it is not much of a “ re-union “ tour “ , is it ?

‘Itchycoo Park’ would be worth the price of admission, even if the Small faces was a slightly different version of the band and even though Steve Marriott died many years ago. Rod Stewart could handle those vocals. In fact, I believe he did do backing vocals on the original, at the end of the song.
I’m just glad I was able to catch Humble Pie a couple of times circa 1971.
