or just hope those nerds can help you out.

or run the wire under your floor. staple it to the ceiling of your basement. drill a hole in your kitchen floor and run the cable up through the floor.

looks decent enough.

A cable can be threaded inside walls without tearing the drywall off and a outlet installed where needed. You can do it yourself if able to to crawl around in the attic space or hire an electrician to do for you.
