You said they “date”; are those dates accompanied by a chaperone, or do they “group date” with other Orthodox Jews?
A fried of ours is from India. He went to college with us in Oklahoma at OSU. He went back to India for the summers and he met and fell in love with his wife there. He took her to a movie and he put his arm around the back of her chair. She freaked out. She was raised NOT to do things like that. No touching or kissing until married. They are a very normal happy couple. She was raised under very strict dating codes.
